Polycrystalline diamond is characterized by high hardness and excellent wear resistance, and it not only lacks cleavage and orientation dependence but also has outstanding heat resistance. Due to its hardness and performance exceeding that of single crystal diamond, it is used as a material for cutting tools employed in precision grinding and precision machining.
